Product Updates
What's changing in Lumo.
Updates here focus on what affects creators directly: content projects, scripts, assets, creator Skills, and publishing prep.
Better handling of conversations and editing drafts when work is interrupted, improved sign-in and password recovery, and restored macOS menus and the quit shortcut.
Create and verify your account on iPhone or iPad, recover a forgotten password, and receive clearer code and retry guidance. Use the same Lumo account on your devices; Mac QR pairing remains available.
Duo and wide layouts keep your conversation and draft together. Supported agents also offer protected Markdown editing over LAN or Relay.
Keep creating as the layout changes
Duo and wide-window transitions preserve the selected conversation, unsent text, attachments, input focus and message reading anchor. Narrow input placeholders wrap.
Save Markdown with confirmation
Compatible agents confirm edits to indexed Markdown files. Drafts remain protected until the matching save reply arrives; older agents retain viewing and sharing.
Downloaded history and interrupted requests recover after reconnecting, with account and service-region isolation. These improvements are retained in 1.3.0.
Mac 0.5.0 improves approval and permission continuity with iPhone and iPad, reconnect recovery, and the security and startup reliability of bundled components.
Resume pending approvals
Approvals and questions that arrive while the mobile app is away reappear when you return to the conversation.
Keep permissions in sync
The phone shows the active Mac task's permission mode, and late responses from an older task cannot change a newer one.
Safer, more reliable startup
Bundled components were updated to address known dependency issues, and the Mac app's startup packaging was fixed.
iPhone and iPad gain schedule editing, richer artifact previews, connection fixes, and four more languages. App Store version availability varies by region.
Edit your schedule
Add and edit schedule entries on iPhone and iPad. When connected to a Mac, the devices use the same schedule.
Review more kinds of work
Artifact previews are clearer and now include image comparisons.
More reliable mobile sessions
Fixed iOS approval and reconnection issues. The paired Mac improvements are available in Mac 0.5.0.
Four more languages
Added Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese alongside English and Simplified Chinese.
The mobile creator workspace is now available on the App Store, alongside the signed and notarized Lumo 0.4.5 DMG for Mac.
Lumo iOS 1.1 is available
The new workspace hub brings cross-project schedules and Artifacts, Skills, connections, settings, and clearer workspace switching to iPhone and iPad.
Remote Mac across networks
When your Mac is online and remote access is available, iPhone or iPad can reconnect through the encrypted relay without sharing the same Wi-Fi.
Lumo 0.4.5 Mac DMG
The current Apple Silicon installer is available as a direct signed and notarized DMG from the official download page.
A more reliable desktop companion for mobile workflows, with secure remote connectivity ready for the next mobile update.
More reliable mobile session continuity
Session handoffs, calendar changes, and relayed commands now recover more safely from retries, reconnects, and temporary network interruptions. Mac and Cloud remain separate workspaces.
Secure remote relay groundwork
Lumo for Mac supports secure remote relay while keeping local-network pairing available.
Reliability and security improvements, plus groundwork for pairing Lumo with a companion mobile app.
Hardened artifact previews
HTML and cover previews now render under a stricter content-security policy, so generated pages can't reach out over the network from inside the preview.
Groundwork for the mobile companion app
Settings now includes a Mobile App panel to pair a phone with your Mac. The companion app itself is still in testing — more soon.
Reset your password from the sign-in screen, and Lumo now stays in your menu bar when you close the window.
Reset your password from the sign-in screen
Forgot your password? Request a reset code by email and set a new one right where you sign in — no need to leave the app.
Closing the window keeps Lumo running
On macOS, closing the window now keeps Lumo in the Dock and adds a menu-bar icon — click it for quick access to recent chats, plan usage, and a new chat. Quit anytime with Cmd+Q.
Lumo is now publicly available on macOS. Download, subscribe, and start creating.

Lumo is now available for anyone to download and use on macOS Ventura and later. No invitation required.
