Lumo Is Now Publicly Available on macOS

Out of invitations, into the open

Starting today, Lumo is publicly available on macOS. There's no invitation code and no waitlist — anyone can download it, install it, and start creating.

One workspace for the messy part of content

The hardest part of making content usually isn't the final edit — it's everything before it: finding an angle, drafting the script, making a cover, cleaning up subtitles, and keeping a posting rhythm. Lumo puts all of that in one place:

  • •Research & angles — turn a rough idea into a direction you can actually run with.
  • •Scripts & drafts — write with structure, so revisions don't fall apart.
  • •AI covers — generate usable cover options right in the app.
  • •Subtitles — transcribe, proofread, and align bilingual captions.
  • •Publishing calendar — put a week or a month of content into clear slots.
  • •Creator Skills — turn your own repeatable steps into reusable capabilities.

Local-first, by design

Projects, drafts, and assets in your Mac workspace stay on your own machine. Lumo does not automatically upload your local files to a cloud workspace.

Update — September 28, 2026: Lumo now also offers a separate Cloud Agent workspace on iPhone and iPad. Material you choose to use there is processed by Lumo's cloud infrastructure and the selected AI services. Learn how Cloud Agent works.

Free to start, with room to grow

  • •Free — the core workspace with a starter AI budget.
  • •Pro — $25/mo (or $20/mo billed yearly): AI media (covers, read-aloud voice, subtitles) and more usage.
  • •Max — $119/mo (or $99/mo billed yearly): 4× the usage of Pro, for heavy, professional creators.

Paid subscriptions are completed and managed in your browser through Stripe, and you won't need a card until you're ready to upgrade.

Get started

Download the current signed and notarized Lumo DMG for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later, drag Lumo into Applications, and open it. From there, Lumo checks for updates on launch and installs them in the background.
