A smoother start, an easier return
When you first open Lumo, creating an account should be straightforward. If you forget your password, you need a clear way to sign in again. And when work is interrupted, you need to find the conversation or draft you were handling. Those everyday details are the focus of 1.3.1.
iPhone, iPad and Mac share this version number, with different priorities on each platform: account setup on mobile, and conversations, editing drafts and familiar controls on Mac.
Set up your account on iPhone or iPad
You can create an account directly on your phone or tablet and continue after verifying your email. You do not need to register on a Mac first. Existing users can sign in, or choose password recovery from the sign-in screen.
Registration, email verification and recovery now form a more coherent flow, with guidance for expired codes and retries. If a message does not arrive, check the address and spam folder, then follow the resend instructions. After requesting a new code, use the latest email.
Mac QR pairing remains available. This release also fixes some server-side issues; see the changelog for the details.
Return to the work on your Mac
The Mac update improves how conversations and editing drafts are preserved when work is interrupted. Return to a task to review the content you were handling, and check whether file edits have finished saving. A retained draft does not mean the file was saved; open the final file before handing it over.
Standard macOS menus and the Command + Q shortcut are back. Use the familiar controls to find commands, open settings and quit the app.
What this looks like during a working day
You have a product video to publish on Friday. On your Mac, you ask Lumo for two opening ideas and start revising one in the editor. Another task pulls you away halfway through. When you return, the useful question is where you left off. The conversation and draft improvements support that return: find the original conversation, read what is already there and continue the next revision.
If you are joining from an iPad for the first time, you can also register and verify your email on that device. Connect to the same Mac if that is where the project lives; use password recovery from the sign-in screen if you cannot remember your password. Clear entry points for account setup and the work itself leave more time to review the script, cover and final delivery.
Continue in the original workspace
The same account lets you use Lumo across devices. Where your project files and sessions live depends on the workspace: Local Mac and Remote Mac connect to your Mac, while Cloud Agent has a separate cloud workspace. Signing in does not merge them.
Read our workspace guide before switching devices. The getting-started guide covers installation and account setup, and the download page lists the public versions and installers for each platform.
